Coyle Focused on Tough Away Run, Thanks Fans for Strong Support

Jamshedpur, March 8: Owen Coyle has shifted his focus to two challenging away fixtures after his side secured a fourth consecutive victory, saying the team must now recover quickly and prepare for a demanding trip to face NorthEast United FC.

Jamshedpur FC play NorthEast United FC in their next away match on March 15, followed by another away fixture against Delhi FC on March 19.

Speaking after the win, Coyle acknowledged that the upcoming schedule will not be easy, with back-to-back away games beginning in Guwahati before a quick turnaround for another match in Delhi. Despite the travel challenges, the coach expressed confidence in his squad’s mentality.

“We’ll now recover and start to prepare to go to NorthEast and try to win. It’s going to be a really tough game,” Coyle said, noting that the team has already shown it can compete in difficult venues this season.

He added that the squad’s unity and belief have been key factors behind the current run of form. According to Coyle, when players trust each other and work hard collectively, they always give themselves a chance of winning matches.

The coach also reserved special praise for the supporters, describing their backing during the match as crucial, especially after his team was reduced to ten men early in the game.

“The fans were brilliant. They really rallied behind the lads when we went down to ten men,” he said. “If there were any difficult moments, the fans were there giving encouragement.”

Coyle said the atmosphere created by the supporters helped lift the players through the challenging moments of the match, adding that the energy from the stands showed the “furnace was certainly alive.”

With momentum on their side and fans firmly behind them, Coyle believes his team will head into the away run with confidence as they aim to extend their winning streak.
