With multiple successful signings being announced in the past one month, Jamshedpur FC revealed their final and biggest foreign signing of this transfer season. The Scottish Premiership Winner, Greg Stewart was unveiled as the latest foreign addition to the club.

The club confirmed that there would be a signing announcement with not one but a bunch of teasers which hinted at the signing of the Scottish player. The teasers revolved around Greg’s Scottish heritage.

A few hours after providing hints to the fans about the nationality of the new signing, Jamshedpur FC captain, Peter Hartley did an Instagram takeover and went live as he answered some questions from the fans who were eager to know who the mystery player was. After answering some of the queries, the skipper officially announced Greg Stewart’s successful move to the club to the fans, adding Greg to the live session where they exchanged a fun chit-chat while the fans were left positively thrilled after seeing the two players together.

Fans of the club gave Greg Stewart a warm welcome with lots of love and support through tons of positive comments, retweets, stories and fan posts. They were expressive about the team’s strong attack that has been established with the new signings in this transfer season and how Greg was the perfect addition to their attacking front alongside Jordan Murray, Ishan Pandita, Komal Thatal and Nerijus Valskis.

The comments sections were flooded with emoji of blue hearts, showering Greg with love in the colours of his country’s flag (Scotland). The fans did not hold back in spreading their joy and delight after hearing Greg’s move to Jamshedpur FC from Rangers FC who had the Liverpool Legend, Steven Gerard, as their manager and also won the Scottish Premiership last season under his leadership.
