Joyner Lourenco talks about being back in the squad after recovering from an injury and facing FC Goa.

Thoughts on the setback against Kerala Blasters

I feel we lost a golden opportunity to enter the top 4. We should have won the game. But, we cannot change what has happened. So, we have to move forward while trying to learn from our mistakes and give our 100% in the upcoming games of the season.

Thoughts on being back in the squad after a long spell of injury

The injury was really frustrating to pick up as I had a really good pre-season. But now I feel better and I am 100% fit to play. So, it is good to be back and I want to play as many matches as possible in the season. I got to play in the last few games and that has really been beneficial for me. I want to contribute as much as I can and help the team achieve the deserved results which is to qualify for the play-offs.

Thoughts on FC Goa as the next opponent

They are a strong team with some quality players upfront. It will be a bit difficult to defend against their attacking line-up but even we possess a strong defensive line to keep them at bay as well as some tactical players up the pitch. So, we will be heading into the match with maximum confidence and we will try to grab those 3 essential points from the game.
