It’s been quite the campaign for the Men of Steel so far with 5 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses. Placed #2 in the league table, Jamshedpur FC have shown heart, grit and determination in every game that they have played so far. Every match has only shown a side of them that every fan has been waiting for a while now - bigger, better with nerves of steel.

Striker, Ishan Pandita, has had a slow but steady start to his season and has already shown twice at the start of 2022 why he is one of the best additions to the squad. Scoring two crucial goals in his last two games (NorthEast United FC and SC East Bengal), Ishan is a happy man, ready to do more for the team, for himself and the fans. “I'm super happy. Last season, I came in as a sub and scored goals. This year, it wasn't clicking too much at the beginning but finally, things are changing for good. I'm so happy to open my goal account for Season 2021-22 for Jamshedpur FC and hopefully, there will be many more to come.”

Jamshedpur FC as a team have shown time and again that they are a physical, tough and a gritty squad on the pitch when need be and the young striker agrees. “You can say that we are a physical squad. We are compact, we like to fight, our boss likes to keep it that way but that doesn't mean that we don't like to play our football as well.”

Known for his last minute goals, or as the fans lovingly call the last few minutes as ‘Ishan o’ clock’, the forward talks about his extra-time goal against the SC East Bengal. “ I think ‘right place at the right time’ is the only way to describe it, and I'm lucky enough to score it for my team. I feel fantastic! I'm happy that I found the chance to score a goal again and I'm happy for the three points. It's always a bit exciting when I get a chance to score goals towards the end but like I always say, I'm happy to contribute to my team and I'm glad it's coming out.”
