Jamshedpur, September 28: Jamshedpur Football Club has extended the contract of defender Sarthak Golui for the season 2025-26 season. He had featured for the Men of Steel in the Durand Cup earlier this season.

Sarthak made an immediate impact in Jamshedpur colours, scoring the first goal of the season for the club in the Durand Cup opener. He went on to feature in every match of the campaign, impressing with his defensive solidity and willingness to support attacks, helping JFC reach the quarterfinals.
“I am very happy to extend my stay and continue my journey with Jamshedpur FC. I look forward to creating many special memories with the club, both on and off the pitch. Jam Ke Khelo, Jamshedpur,” said Sarthak Golui after signing the extension.
Head Coach Steven Dias praised the defender’s commitment: “I was very impressed with the way Sarthak performed in the Durand Cup. He gave everything for the team and having him with us adds real strength and character to our defence.”
Sarthak’s presence adds depth and stability to the Men of Steel’s backline as they prepare for the Super Cup in Goa, where Jamshedpur FC will compete in Group B against FC Goa (October 26), NorthEast United FC (October 29), and Inter Kashi (November 1). Preparations are already underway in Jamshedpur under the guidance of Steven Dias, with the squad aiming for a strong campaign.
