Jamshedpur FC

Jamshedpur FC launched its sixth football school in collaboration with Carmel Junior College in Jamshedpur through a scintillating Grassroots Festival, today; overseen by Mr. Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots and Youth Development. The inauguration was felicitated by all-important dignitaries, Sister. Lini – Principal, Carmel Junior College; Mr. Mukul Choudhari – CEO, Jamhedpur FC; and Carlos Santamarina – Head Coach, Tata Football Academy (TFA).

133 kids of Under 11 & Under 8 registered for the football school and participated in a football festival that marked the inauguration for the same with utmost interest.

The CEO of Jamshedpur FC, Mr. Mukul Choudhari stated, “Jamshedpur FC is delighted to have kick-started its football school at the Carmel Junior College. We have been wanting to start the grassroots program here for a while and I’m happy that we could do it. Special thanks to the school management for all the support.”

Principal of Carmel Junior School, Sister Lini shared her thoughts about Football School Initiative out of utmost delight, “Jamshedpur FC has been pivotal in promoting football in Jamshedpur and Jharkhand. The club is one of the biggest football teams in India. We are glad to collaborate with the club and thank them for setting a platform for the children of Carmel.”

The Football School in Carmel Junior College is up and about with 133 kids started early on the process of cultivating talent.
