Jamshedpur, May 22: Jamshedpur FC is set to celebrate AFC Grassroots Day on 23rd May at the Artificial Turf, JRD Tata Sports Complex, in line with the date allocated by the All India Football Federation.

The event will be conducted during the regular training session timings of the Jamshedpur FC Football School from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and aims to promote participation, enjoyment, and development through football among young players.

As part of the celebrations, the club will organise a football tournament for the Under-14 batch, while players from the Under-5 to Under-12 age groups will take part in various small-sided fun games and football-based activities.

The initiative forms part of the AFC and AIFF grassroots development programme, which focuses on encouraging children to engage with football in a positive and enjoyable environment.

Through the event, Jamshedpur FC continues its commitment towards grassroots football development and nurturing the next generation of footballers in the region.
