Jamshedpur FC U-18 Return to Winning Ways with 6–0 Away Rout of SAIL FA

Bokaro, January 25: Jamshedpur FC U-18 got back to winning ways in emphatic fashion as they registered a comfortable 6–0 victory over SAIL Football Academy in an AIFF Elite League away match at Bokaro on Saturday.

The Young Men of Steel produced a dominant performance from start to finish, with four different players finding the scoresheet in a one-sided contest. Rayan C opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a brilliant individual effort, winning the ball off a defender, dribbling past another challenge and calmly placing his shot into the far corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

Jamshedpur doubled their lead in the 24th minute after the referee awarded a penalty for handball inside the box. Lawmsangzuala (Mama) stepped up and converted from the spot. Just three minutes later, Rayan was brought down in the area, earning Jamshedpur a second penalty, which Lawmsangzuala again dispatched confidently to make it 3–0.

The visitors went into the break with an even bigger cushion as Satyajit Das’ looping cross found its way inside the far post just before half-time, making it 4–0 at the interval.

Jamshedpur continued to control the game after the restart and added a fifth in the 50th minute. Devjit Majumdar delivered a sharp cutback from the right, which Mars Ningthoujam finished neatly past the goalkeeper.

The final goal came in the dying minutes as Krishna Tudu headed home another assist from Devjit, sealing a comprehensive 6–0 win and underlining Jamshedpur’s attacking depth and control in the return leg against SAIL FA.

Jamshedpur FC U-18 will now turn their focus to their next crucial fixture against Inter Kashi, scheduled to be played on January 31 at home.
