Jamshedpur FC U16 Crush Alpha Sports 9-2 to Stay Top of Junior League Table
Jamshedpur, March 8: Jamshedpur FC U16 continued their impressive run in the AIFF Junior League with a commanding 9–2 victory over Alpha Sports Academy in their Group G Zonal Round match at Flatelet on Sunday.
The boys of steel were dominant from the start and raced into an early lead when Suklal Jamuda opened the scoring in the 8th minute. Kishan Singh doubled the advantage six minutes later before Rajveer added the third in the 20th minute. Indraj then got on the scoresheet a minute later as Jamshedpur FC established complete control of the contest.
Rajveer struck again in the 44th minute to make it 5–0 before the break, capping off an excellent first-half display.
The second half saw the hosts maintain the same attacking intensity. Marshal emerged as the standout performer, scoring a superb hat-trick with goals in the 54th, 60th and 89th minutes, while Suklal Jamuda also completed his brace in the 57th minute, although Alpha Sports managed to pull back two goals after the break.
The result continues the junior side’s strong form in the competition. Jamshedpur FC U16 have now won four of their five matches, while drawing one away game, and sit at the top of the Group G table with 13 points.
With three matches still to play in the zonal round, the youngsters will next face Inter Kashi as they look to maintain their momentum in the AIFF Junior League.
