Jamshedpur FC U18 Eye Another Unbeaten Outing Against YAFC Chowdhar
Jamshedpur, February 9: Jamshedpur FC U18 will look to extend their unbeaten run in the AIFF Elite League when they face YAFC Chowdhar in their first-ever meeting against the side, scheduled to be played at Flatelet on Tuesdasy.
The Young Men of Steel currently sit comfortably at the top of the table and have been one of the most consistent sides in the zonal round, combining solid defensive organisation with a fluent attacking style. Having dropped points only in tightly contested fixtures, Jamshedpur will be keen to maintain momentum as the league enters its decisive phase.
YAFC Chowdhar, meanwhile, find themselves second from bottom with just four points so far. While the table position suggests an uphill task, Jamshedpur will be wary of complacency, especially against a side that has little to lose and can play with freedom.
Head coach Kaizad Ambapardiwalla has stressed the importance of focus and intensity, even against lower-ranked opposition. “Every match in this league tests you in a different way. The boys have shown maturity so far, but we have to respect every opponent and stick to our processes,” he said ahead of the fixture.
With Jamshedpur’s attacking unit firing and the defence showing resilience in recent outings, the hosts will aim to assert control early and push for another positive result as they continue their push to finish the league phase on a high.
