Jamshedpur FC Youth Teams enjoy a day of adventure and bonding at TSAF Centre at Dimna Lake
Jamshedpur, October 16: Jamshedpur FC’s youth teams spent an eventful and refreshing day at the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) Centre, Dimna Lake, engaging in activities designed to strengthen teamwork and boost morale ahead of the AIFF Youth League.
The players from JFC’s U18, U16, and U14 squads took part in a full-day outdoor programme that included team-building exercises, water sports, rafting, and swimming safety lessons. The session, which began at 9 a.m. and continued till 5 p.m., involved around 40 players and 12 staff members.
For many of the young players, it was a rare opportunity to step away from the football pitch and experience challenges that tested their coordination and trust in one another. “It was an amazing experience for all of us,” said U18 midfielder Piti Bhaskey. “The change of environment really helped us connect better as a team. The rafting and water sports were mind-refreshing and it gave a new experience for us before the season begins.”
Head Coach of the U18 side, Kaizad Ambapardiwalla, echoed similar sentiments, emphasising the value of such activities before a demanding campaign. “This was a much-needed day for the players. It allowed them to unwind, build stronger bonds, and refocus their energy. Now everyone is recharged and ready to concentrate fully on the Youth League.”
