Jamshedpur, October 18: Jamshedpur FC conducted a Soccer Safety Equipment Workshop for its Under-10 Advance Training batch, focusing on the importance of proper gear use and safe playing practices. The session was aimed at educating young footballers on how to prevent injuries and maintain safety during games and training.

The workshop covered key aspects such as the correct fitting and use of shin guards, cleats, and goalkeeper gloves, along with demonstrations on pre-game safety routines like warm-up exercises, stretching, and field inspections. Coaches also emphasised the importance of hydration, safe tackling and heading techniques, and the need for players to immediately report any discomfort or injuries during play.

Head of Youth Development, Kundan Chandra, highlighted the importance of early safety education, saying, “At Jamshedpur FC, we believe that understanding safety from a young age builds responsible and confident footballers. Workshops like these not only protect our players but also teach them discipline and respect for the game.”
