Jamshedpur FC

After conceding a slim loss in their first fixture of the year against Chennaiyin FC, Jamshedpur FC now set their eyes on their last game of the first set of fixtures, against NorthEast United FC.

Here are some of the players of the Highlanders’ squad who could pose a major threat to the Men of Steel side in their clash tomorrow:

Subhasish Roy

Subhashish was a member of the Hero ISL 2014 champions, ATK FC, making eight appearances in goal. In the 2015-16 Hero ISL season, he played for Delhi Dynamos FC, FC Goa in 2016, Kerala Blasters FC in 2017-18, and then for the Men of Steel in 2018-19. In Hero ISL 2019-20, the seasoned goalkeeper made 15 appearances for NorthEast United FC, and he added 15 more appearances in Hero ISL 2020-21 as the Highlanders finished making it to the play-offs. With 18 successful saves in the current season, Subhasish is one of the goalkeepers with the most saves in the league so far and will aim to keep adding more to his tally when he guards the goal against the attacking line-up of Jamshedpur FC.

Khassa Camara

Camara began his youth career with the B team of Ligue 2 club ES Troyes AC. Camara joined AO Xanthi, a top-tier Greek club at the time, and quickly established himself as an important member of the team's midfield, making 76 league games and contributing two assists. He is a Mauritania international who made his debut in 2013. NorthEast United FC signed him ahead of the Hero ISL 2020-21 season, and he was one of their finest midfielders. Camara is a threat in all parts of the park with his wind-like pace, unbelievable shot power and ability to create goal-scoring chances for his teammates. Khassa Camara will definitely be a man that the Jamshedpur squad would aim to lock down in the midfield and the attacking third.

Suhair Vadakkepeedika

Suhair played football for the State Bank of Travancore and was signed by United SC in the second division after impressing in the Santosh Trophy for the Kerala state squad. In 2018, he joined Kibu Vicuna's Mohun Bagan for the 2019-20 season and won the title with Mohun with a strong campaign. The striker was signed by NorthEast United FC ahead of the Hero ISL 2020-21 season. He went on to score three goals for his team in 19 games and has already scored 3 goals in 9 games in the current season with 1 assist as well. The in-form forward will also be one of the attackers that Jamshedpur would want to keep at bay and intercept all chances that Suhair can score from.

Deshorn Brown

The Jamaican forward began his football career with the UOM Rams in the United States and after five years with various teams in the United States, he played for leagues in Norway, China, the United States, and Spain. Later, the striker joined NorthEast United FC during the Hero ISL 2020-21 January transfer window after a season with Bengaluru FC and had an immediate impact, scoring five goals in ten games for the Highlanders. Brown has been an absolute menace for opposition defences with 4 goals in just 5 games, with a hattrick against the defending champions, Mumbai City FC in their last fixture which helped the team avoid a loss and end the game in a draw. His performance in the last game displayed his attacking and finishing prowess which the Men of Steel defensive line-up would want to keep in control with their strong approach at the back and deny the Jamaican every opportunity at scoring.
