Jamshedpur, December 5: After a successful second matchday last week, the Jamshedpur Super League will resume with the Under-15 and Under-13 categories on Friday at the Tinplate Sports Complex. The U-13 matches will kick off from 2.30 PM, followed by the U-15 fixtures from 3.30 PM onward. A total of 26 matches are scheduled for the day, featuring 10 exciting clashes in the U-13 category and 16 competitive fixtures in the U-15 group.

This season marks the biggest expansion in the history of the Jamshedpur Super League, which has grown from 70 to 190 teams, involving more than 1,100 grassroots footballers along with 888 participants from community groups. Rebranded from the All India Football Federation’s Blue Cubs League model, the JSL continues to serve as India’s largest grassroots football movement, hosting small-sided, age-appropriate formats that prioritise player development, maximum ball touches, and enjoyment.

Across the first two matchdays, the league has already witnessed an enthusiastic response from players, coaches, and parents, reflecting the growing football culture in the city. The JSL’s inclusive model brings together children, girls, mothers, fathers, veterans, and transgender participants, making it a festival of football for the entire community.

The weekend will continue in full spirit, with all other age-group categories scheduled to play on Sunday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex Artificial Turf and Armoury Ground.
