Know your player ft Aniket Jadhav

Their world is just like ours. It revolves around following passions, enjoying hobbies, and soaking up the little joys of life.

Such is the life of our talented young forward, Aniket Jadhav. Amidst all the new normal, we had a chance to catch up with this young lad and peel the proverbial layer of onion that is Aniket Jadhav outside the football pitch.

When was the last time you cooked?

Given everything that is going on, I figured I should contribute more into helping out in the kitchen and so during the lockdown, I have started helping out my family in the kitchen. It’s fun and relaxing to be honest. So I am cooking and helping with anything and everything I can.

Best place you have travelled to in India apart from Jamshedpur and why is it your favourite.

It’s Kashmir. The abundance of green, the pleasant cold weather, the food, the view... it’s mother nature at her purest form  and I can’t think of a better vacation spot than the valleys of this beautiful place to unwind in.

Your favourite activity to pass time with

I love playing video games. Currently I am loving every second of playing PubG with Karan Amin.

Any favourite TV series you are binge-watching

I’m not binge-watching anything at the moment.

If you weren’t a footballer, what would you be and why

Football has always been my dream, my passion and I am grateful for the opportunities I have received to take those dreams further. However, I have always had a soft spot for politics as well and if I wasn’t pursuing a career as a footballer, I think I probably would have been a politician.

Most memorable (difficult, happy, awkward) moment on the pitch

For now,  I am simply doing everything to give my best and soak up every second I get on the pitch. It simply cannot get bigger than that.
