Madih Talal Determined to End Season on a High as Jamshedpur FC Prepare for Final Push

Jamshedpur, May 18: Madih Talal says Jamshedpur FC are fully focused on finishing the season with a victory as the Men of Steel prepare for their final league fixture against Odisha FC at the Furnace on May 21.

With Jamshedpur FC still mathematically in contention for the league title depending on results elsewhere, Talal believes the team’s immediate objective is clear. Secure all three points and finish as high as possible in the standings.

“It’s always motivating to have the possibility of finishing as champions, but our main priority is to end the season with a victory,” Talal said. “Our objective is to finish as high as possible in the table, so winning this last match is essential. After that, we’ll see what the standings look like, but on our side, we’ll know that we gave everything.”

Talal has been one of Jamshedpur FC’s most influential players this season, consistently driving the team’s attacking play with his creativity and vision. Reflecting on his own performances, the midfielder said he remains pleased with his contribution while believing there is still more to come.

“I’m happy with my performances so far, but I know I can still bring even more to the team,” he said. “I really enjoy my role in the system, and the coach gives me a lot of freedom on the pitch, which allows me to feel more comfortable and help the team create chances.”

The midfielder admitted that the recent defeat to Bengaluru FC was frustrating, especially after the Men of Steel created several clear opportunities. However, he stressed that the squad has quickly shifted its attention to the final challenge of the campaign.

“The defeat was disappointing, especially considering the number of chances we created during the match,” Talal said. “But we can’t change what happened, so we quickly moved on. Now, the whole group is fully focused on the match against Odisha, and we’ve been working well in training to be ready.”

Talal also highlighted the importance of the support Jamshedpur FC have received throughout the season and called on the fans to play a decisive role once again in the final home fixture.

“The supporters have played a very important role this season,” he said. “Their support has often pushed us to go beyond our limits and secure victories in the final moments of matches. For this last game, we’ll need them once again to help us make that final effort at home and finish the season in the best possible way with a victory in front of our fans.”
