Madih Talal Embraces Jamshedpur Challenge, Eager to Inspire Fans

Jamshedpur, October 9: As Jamshedpur FC steps up its preparations for the Super Cup, French playmaker Madih Talal is settling into the city and embracing its football culture with enthusiasm. Having previously played in the Indian Super League with Punjab FC and East Bengal, Talal is well aware of what awaits him in Jamshedpur. “I have played twice in the Furnace so far as an opponent and the fans were really behind the team on both occasions,” he said. “As a player, having such passionate, loud fans helps you stay motivated on the pitch and give that extra effort for the team.”

For Talal, joining Jamshedpur represents both a fresh challenge and a continuation of his Indian football journey. “It’s a new and exciting challenge for me in India, especially now that I am familiar with football in the country,” he said. “I have heard great things about the club and the fans in the city, and I would love to make this journey a memorable one.”

The creative midfielder, known for his composure and vision, is confident about what he brings to Steven Dias’ side. “I want to give my best for the club. I’m confident in my abilities and hopeful that I can contribute towards achieving the club’s collective goals,” he added.

Having recovered from a lengthy injury spell, Talal’s focus is now on regaining his rhythm and playing his part in Jamshedpur’s push for success. “I have had a setback in my career with the injury last season, and I haven’t really set personal goals for now. I just want to get back on the pitch and enjoy playing football again,” he said. “My focus is on contributing to the club’s success and helping the team perform to its best. I had a conversation with the coach and already has a clear picture what he wants from me," he said.

Talal is one among the five foreigners training at Jamshedpur FC as they are preparing for the Super Cup under the guidance of Steven Dias. The Men of Steel will open their campaign against FC Goa on October 26, followed by matches against North East United FC on October 29 and Inter Kashi on November 1 in the Group B fixtures to be played at Goa.
