Match Report | Jamshedpur FC Reserves 0-1 Real Kashmir FC

A 30th minute penalty scored by Chesterpaul Lyngdoh becomes the difference between the two teams at Tata Football Academy Ground.

The scene was set for some football at Tata Football Academy ground as Jamshedpur FC Reserves geared up to face I-League side Real Kashmir in a practice with hundreds of fans gathering outside the ground to watch the match.

It was a dramatic encounter with the Reserves playing possession football and Real Kashmir playing on the counter and with smooth off-the-ball movement.

The first goal (and the only goal of the match) came at the 30th minute when Real Kashmir won a penalty after the Reserves defence got caught on the counter and committed a foul inside the box. The penalty was coolly converted by Real Kashmir's Meghalaya born midfielder, Chesterpaul Lyngdoh. The rest of the half saw Real Kashmir defend their lead into half-time.

The second half saw a lot of changes as both sides decided to reshuffle their squads to test maximum players in the practice match. Chances continued to fall to both teams but none were converted as the Snow Leopards successfully defended their slim lead.
