Mental Well-being Session Conducted for U-10 Advanced Kids at Tata Football Academy
Jamshedpur, November 8: A special mental well-being session was conducted for the U-10 Advanced group at the Tata Football Academy (TFA), an initiative aimed at nurturing young footballers selected by Jamshedpur FC from the city. The session focused on helping children understand game pressure, developing fun-based learning habits, and strengthening their overall psychological well-being.
The interactive workshop provided a safe and encouraging environment where the kids learned how to balance competition with enjoyment, build confidence, and stay mentally resilient as they progress through their football journey.
Speaking about the initiative, Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots at Jamshedpur FC, said, “At this stage, our focus is not just on improving technical ability but also on shaping a healthy mindset. These sessions are part of a continuous effort to empower our young players, helping them enjoy the game and grow into true professionals in the future.”
This ongoing programme reflects Jamshedpur FC’s commitment to holistic player development, ensuring that children not only learn the skills of football but also build the mental strength needed for long-term success.
