Jamshedpur, November 5: Jamshedpur FC forward Mohammed Sanan has been called up to the India U-23 Men’s National Team for the upcoming international friendlies against Thailand. The matches are scheduled to take place on November 15 and 18, 2025, in Thailand as part of the All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) ongoing initiative to provide international exposure to young Indian footballers during FIFA windows.

Sanan will join the national camp in Kolkata starting November 7, before the team departs for Thailand. The 20-year-old attacker has been a consistent performer for Jamshedpur FC, and his selection reflects his continued growth and potential at both club and national levels.

Sanan had a memorable season so far this season with the national U23 team. He had played in the AFC
U-23 Qualifiers in Doha and was impressive as the team narrowly bowed out. He had also featured in the friendlies against Iraq and he was called up to the senior national team camp.

“I hope I can do better every time I step on the pitch, and these call-ups will surely increase my confidence. These matches will be a huge learning curve for me, personally, as we prepare for the league action,” said Sanan.
