Nikola optimistic about Jamshedpur as the team shows unity and fighting spirit
Jamshedpur, November 5: Jamshedpur FC midfielder Nikola Stojanovic expressed optimism about the team’s progress and praised the growing unity within the squad after their convincing 2-0 win over Inter Kashi in the Super Cup. The Serbian midfielder highlighted that the group is “working really hard to improve every day” and remains focused on what lies ahead.
“After a long break, we are finally on the pitch again and this is what makes us happy,” Nikola said, reflecting on the team’s return to competitive action. “Unfortunately, the rain in Goa made it difficult to play the kind of football we wanted, but no complaints and the important thing is that we’re back on the pitch.”
The midfielder pointed out how the team’s chemistry and understanding have grown with every game. “We are getting to know and understand each other better and better, and this is the most important thing. We showed improvement and we will keep improving,” he added.
Jamshedpur ended their Super Cup campaign on a positive note, combining solid defensive organisation with attacking flair. Nikola was particularly pleased with the clean sheet, saying, “It’s always great to win like that and also keep a clean sheet. The team is working really hard to improve every day, and we’ll keep doing that for what is ahead of us.”
He also praised the developing on-field connection with teammates like Messi, Vincy, and Sanan. “It’s going well in my opinion. We are getting to know each other on and off the pitch, and I hope everything will go in the best way for what is coming,” Nikola concluded.
With the Super Cup wrapped up, Jamshedpur FC’s focus now turns to building on their cohesion and momentum as they look ahead to the upcoming challenge.
