Pre-season 2019-20 | Match Preview: Jamshedpur vs Real Kashmir

The 2019-20 pre-season for Jamshedpur is ready to pick pace as the home team faces Real Kashmir at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on 21st September at 6:30 PM. The Kashmir-based side arrived in the Steel City in the evening hours of Thursday as they made the trip down from Srinagar.

Jamshedpur began their pre-season training on 12th September 2019 and will be facing their first challenge this Saturday in the form of the Snow Leopards.

Ahead of the club’s firs pre-season game of 2019-20 FC Head Coach, Antonio Iriondo said, “I want my team to play total football. That requires a thorough job and the players must take notes of every moment that improves his technique. And, I think we are in a good line to get to that stage.”

He continued, “Real Kashmir have some very good players. Their record in the past one year speaks for themselves. Each and every pre-season match is important to us as we prepare ourselves for the first match in the Indian Super League.”

Real Kashmir who was newly promoted to the I-League finished in 3rd place in the 2018-19 season, just 6 points off champions Chennai City FC. The Snow Leopards come on the back of an amazing Durand Cup run, where they reached the semi-finals falling short by a minimum as they went down 3-1 against Mohun Bagan.
