How do you feel about continuing with Jamshedpur FC where you have had two glorious seasons including the one where we won the League?

Ricky: I feel ecstatic to continue donning Jamshedpur FC’s Jersey. It's been a thrilling journey with all the challenges that we overcame to achieve glory together.

You were an integral part of the squad and the only player who has played all 42 matches in the last two seasons. How does this record mean to you?

Ricky: I feel incredibly optimistic after having played all the matches in the last two seasons. I want to express my gratitude to God who has safeguarded me from injuries throughout the seasons. Former Boss, Owen Coyle showed a lot of faith in me and gave me the opportunity to play every match, for which I am utterly thankful.

After winning the league and becoming ‘Champions of India’ what’s the next goal you will be looking forward to?

Ricky: After winning the shield, the next goal is to retain the title and bring the Hero ISL trophy to Jamshedpur. We have a massive challenge at hand in the upcoming season and we will be giving our best at the Furnace for our fans.

How excited are you to work with Aidy Boothroyd, the new Head Coach of Jamshedpur FC?

Ricky: I am very excited to work with our new Head Coach, Aidy Boothroyd. He has tremendous experience in developing young players and his style of play will surely be the right fit for the team. He is the right person to lead the squad, bring more glory to the club, and bring a big smile to the fans.

How excited are you to play in front of Jamshedpur fans at JRD Tata Sports Complex after 2 years?

Ricky: Yes, I can't wait to play at JRD Tata Sports Complex among the vociferous Red Miners after a gap of two years. It will be thrilling to play in the stadium with all our loyal and vigorous supporters.
