Vikash Nayak scores four goals as Tata Steel beat Narwa Pahar Sports Club 4-0 at JRD Tata Sports Complex in JSA League
Tata Steel continued their good performances in the JSA League as they picked up a comfortable 4-0 victory over Narwa Pahar Sports Club at JRD Tata Sports Complex in the Premier Division.
The JSA League returned after a two-day break and made a roaring comeback with four matches across Jamshedpur. For Tata Steel, all four goals were scored by exciting forward Vikash Nayak, whose calmness and composure in front of goal was there for all to see in a one-sided encounter.
In the other Premier Division match, Tata Motors took on Andhra Sporting Union and could only manage a 1-1 draw against the resolute Andhra Sporting team at the Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium in Telco.
In A Division (Group B) action, Jamshedpur Football Academy beat promoted side Ambedkar Football Club 3-1 at Tinplate Sports Complex thanks to three quick goals in the second half.
At Armoury Ground, Katin FC were defeated 1-0 by Adivasi Green Sporting Club thanks to a 42nd minute goal by Simal Tudu in the A Division (Group A).
