Zuala Stars in Premier Division as JFC Inch Close to Semifinal
Jamshedpur, September 1: Jamshedpur FC Youth continued their dominant run in the JSA Premier Division with a resounding 4-0 victory over Dalma Tiger at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Monday. From the first whistle, the youngsters showed clear intent, controlling possession and carving open their opponents with purposeful play.
The star of the day was once again Lawmsangzuala, who netted his second hat-trick of the tournament. He opened the scoring with a powerful long-range strike after a clever interplay with Mars. Soon after, he calmly slotted home a penalty won by Sachin.
His third came in style, a curling free-kick from just outside the box that left the goalkeeper rooted and sealed his hattrick. The icing on the cake came late in the match when Sachin, who had tormented the Dalma defence with his mazy runs, finally found his deserved goal to complete the rout.
The 4-0 win pushes Jamshedpur FC Youth closer to a semifinal berth, with their attacking display.
In the other Premier Division fixture at Telco Ground, Tata Motors edged past BLSFA 1-0. Bikram Kisku scored the decisive goal in the sixth minute, and despite both sides receiving multiple cautions, the scoreline remained unchanged.
Meanwhile, in the Super Division, Pandit Raghunath Memorial Foundation received a walkover as Aruna Samity failed to turn up for their scheduled clash at Armoury Ground
