It was a tough night for Jamshedpur FC as they finished the final game with a disappointing 5-0 loss to FC Goa at The Furnace.

At the press conference post tonight's match, head coach Antonio Iriondo addresses on where it all went wrong.

On tonight's loss

In the first 60 to 70 minutes, we were playing better than the other team and creating chances. Individually, FC Goa have very good players. After the second goal, they were better than us. They have very good individual players and they show it every time they have a chance.

On the dip in the performance of the team

I think someone has to be responsible for this. Maybe the easiest way is to point to the staff and the coach. We need to work carefully to decipher what has been the problem.

On trying different combinations in defence

We have tried different full backs this season, we thought that even though Karan wasn’t so physically as good as the other players, he understands the game, that is why we played him. He wasn’t very different from the other full backs. We have been working with a smaller group of players which has made it tougher.

On Sumeet Passi's performance as a full back

Many people were surprised that we used a forward as a full-back, but he was very good. He is probably the best one we have. Playing a forward as a full back is something I would not generally do but circumstances called for it. It’s not only about the experiment. When something isn’t working, we have to try and fix it. We have been trying to fix some positions we were having problems with.
