An intense clash against the Gaurs ends with a draw

Jamshedpur FC registered a draw against Hero ISL side, FC Goa in their pre-season friendly campaign in Goa. A goal from Vazquez (FC Goa) and Germanpreet (Jamshedpur FC) saw the game ending with a convincing draw.

After a narrow loss against Sreenidi Deccan to a last-minute penalty, the Men of Steel headed over to Goa for their next pre-season friendly. From the international players, Aidy played Daniel Chima, and Wellington Priori in the attacking front while having the concrete duo of Peter Hartley and Eli Sabia in the defensive end of the pitch. 

The defending Hero ISL champions started off well as they kept on creating chances from the very first minute of the game. 

But the hosts took the lead over in the 35th minute when Spanish forward, Alvaro Vazquez slipped the ball into the back of the net. Going into halftime the score remained 0-1 as Jamshedpur ended went in with a goal deficit.

The second half started with Jamshedpur FC maintaining the majority of the possession. Finally, Germanpreet steered Jamshedpur right back into the game, as he found the net in the 69th minute earning the much-desired equalizer. 

The game ended in a stalemate as both squads gave their all on the pitch while holding each other back from walking away as the victorious side. The Men of Steel will be playing their next friendly on the 25th of September.
