The team’s going through a challenging phase. However, this is also a learning phase, especially for young players who are trying to make their mark in the world of football. One of them is Aniket Jadhav. Post #BFCJFC, we caught up with our young forward to understand his learnings from #BFCJFC and his overall performance so far.
On his transition to senior level player
The transition is going well. When you have players like Piti and Subrata Paul constantly supporting you, it helps. So, the progress is going up day by day. It’s important to work hard and I am constantly working on my game and trying to learn something each and every day.
On how much the game varies between age-group teams and the senior team
Honestly, there is a big difference. Playing at the senior level is very difficult filled with challenges. I am trying my hardest to learn from every training session I am a part of and every game I am playing.
On the experience of playing against Bengaluru FC
Since the beginning, I have seen playing for Jamshedpur FC as a massive opportunity. Then, I got to play against the defending champions, Bengaluru FC which is again a great team. Chances like these in itself keep me motivated and help me perform.
On still being in the developmental phase and how it's helping during matchdays
Each and every day, things are getting better and better. How much ever time I am getting to play, those chances are helping me grow and hopefully, in the future, I will be able to contribute more to my team.
On how the support by the foreign players have been so far
Piti and Castel (Sergio) have been my rock. They helped me understand football in a better way. A player like Piti who has been a part of La Liga, when he shares ideas and tips, it overall helps you in shaping yourself up as a footballer.
On #BFCJFC match performance
We had expectations, it was important to win this match. Unfortunately, the result didn’t turn out in our favour. We are working hard, we are doing everything to convert the opportunities and hopefully, in the next game, we will be able to collect those 3 points we have been fighting for, and we will keep working hard to reach playoffs.
