- How does it feel to get picked by Jamshedpur FC from the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) Draft?
I am extremely excited. It is like a dream come true for me. ATK had called me for a trial three years ago. But then I could not make it and I thought that I will never get to play in this incredible league.
- How does it feel to share the dressing room with your old buddies (Mehtab Hossain, Subrata Paul) again?
It is like a happy reunion. All of us have played the game for quite some time now in this Indian football circuit. We are like a family and we know each other’s games.
- First time in the ISL, share your feelings:
It is an incredible feeling. I cannot pen down my emotions. Since I have got an opportunity I want to work harder and want to get noticed by the coach. And if I get to play, I will try and find the nets as many times possible.
- Your experience in the Indian football circuit can prove to be crucial for the team:
We have played for so many years. Our experience will help the team.
- You and our assistant coach Ishfaq Ahmed have played together in the past. And now he is the assistant coach. How do you feel?
Ishfaq Ahmed and I have played in the India U23 team and Mohun Bagan. We share a good relation. Now the roles are different for him.
