Coach Antonio shares his thoughts post #NEUJFC

Jamshedpur FC have had an unbeaten record against Northeast FC. And the team made sure to keep the record intact in tonight’s game. While the match seemed to have started off a little slow, in under 5 minutes the home team scored its first goal. Jamshedpur FC started to become desperate to score an equaliser and David Grande made his first ISL goal and scored a much-needed equaliser before the first half came to a thrilling conclusion. What followed next was nothing but pure drama as post 75th minute all hell broke loose and both the teams scored equally bringing #NEUJFC to a thrilling finish of 3-3.

Coach Antonio Iriondo addressed his thoughts on tonight’s match and what happens next.

On tonight's game against Northeast United FC

The players gave their 100%. Obviously it wasn’t the best match but both the teams given the situation and the position they are in were probably nervous. A lot of mistakes occurred as well, plus the condition of the field didn't help. Both the teams were trying really hard but a lot of errors occurred.

On the performance of the youngsters

Everything they did, they tried is something to be proud of.  They all did their best despite the mistakes and covered it up with the goals. In a way, it's okay because these experiences are what is going to help them next season and I am thankful to them that they try and give their 100% despite the situation.

Thoughts on how the players are being motivated despite the team being out of the playoffs

These are our opportunities to get better, to get experiences and fine-tune whatever is lacking. These matches are enough to motivate us to go out and give 100% and we are thankful for these opportunities and that's what keeps every one of us motivated.
