Jamshedpur FC and Eli Sabia created quite the storm as the club announced the signing of the Brazilian center-back for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League, strengthening their defensive unit further.
The club Head Coach, Owen Coyle, expressed his joy over the defender’s joining as Eli and him have previously teamed up during their stint with the Marina Machans. “Eli is one of the best defenders in the ISL. He is an outstanding personality and is a real team player. He has been playing in the ISL for 4 seasons, one of them with me, and comes with a serial winning mentality,” said the Gaffer.
Eli was the first foreign signing announcement made by Jamshedpur FC ahead of the ISL 2021-22 season. The fans were absolutely elated, sharing their excitement all over the club’s social media platforms.
