Buzzing after scoring the first international goal of his career and excited to join the re-developed side of Jamshedpur FC, the in-form forward, Farukh Choudhary, was excited to answer some of the questions asked in a live chat by the host along with the fans. In this live conversation, Farukh shared his thoughts on getting back to the pitch with the Men of Steel and his personal benchmarks for the upcoming season of the Hero Indian Super League.
“I am really looking forward to the pre-season which should begin in the next 2 weeks, but I’ll be training with the National Team for the SAFF cup but I am really looking forward to the upcoming season. Our new squad looks great and I cannot wait to join them in training, build a strong connection with everyone. So I am really looking forward to the season ahead,” says Farukh ahead of the pre-season which will commence in a few weeks.
Farukh also opened up about setting personal goals and expectations for the club and the league this season. “Our main goal is to qualify for the playoffs which is of utmost importance. We will obviously plan our strategy one game at a time but with the players we have added to the squad, I feel we can really make a big impact and hopefully qualify for the playoffs stages.”
