Jamshedpur: After defeating the Highlanders and bagging the first win of the Hero Indian Super League 20223 season, Jamshedpur FC will now face FC Goa for their second away game of the season. The Aidy Boothroyd-managed side looks to go into the top four of the table. As they eye to maintain their winning streak while facing FC Goa in Jamshedpur FC's 100th Hero ISL game.

Jamshedpur FC and FC Goa have gone head-to-head against each other 10 times previously in the Hero ISL. Out of which FC Goa has won a majority of the games (5) and only one of the fixtures has ended with a stalemate. 

FC Goa, the former Hero ISL shield winner finished 9th in the league table last season with only 4 wins among the 20 matches. Last season, Jamshedpur made a club record against the Gaurs when they were successful in defeating FC Goa in both the home and away fixtures. 

At the moment, both sides are placed one above the other with FC Goa in the 5th place and Jamshedpur FC in the 6th with a difference of only 2 points as the hosts (FC Goa) has won two out of their three games. 

With the needed winning momentum in hand, Jamshedpur FC will aim to win their second game in a row and build a winning streak for themselves. A win in this away game also means that the Men of Steel will move higher up the table into the top 4 spots. 

At the same time, FC Goa will also have the same motive walking into the pitch after suffering a narrow defeat in their last game against Hyderabad FC. 

The game is expected to be an intense contest as the two sides have always managed to produce exciting results. With the hunger to make their way up the league table and to also continue their winning streak, the Men of Steel will be eyeing nothing but to make it 3 wins in a row over FC Goa in the former's 100th Hero ISL game.
