Jamshedpur, July 27: In a much-anticipated Durand Cup group stage fixture with Indian Army FT and Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on July 29 at 4 PM, the entry for fans will be free, subject to specific conditions to ensure safety and orderly seating.
The stadium gates will open two hours before kick-off, and fans are encouraged to arrive early. The seating will be on a first come, first serve basis, with only 11,400 spectators to be allowed into the venue. To manage this, three stands will be open to the public, East Lower, East Upper, and the South Stand.
The organisers have also issued clear guidelines for fan movement and entry points. Access to the stadium will be permitted only through Gates 4, 5, 6, and 7 on Straight Mile Road. Fans will be first directed to the East Lower Stand, which can accommodate 4,200 spectators. Once it reaches capacity, entry will shift to the East Upper Stand with 3,200 seats, followed by the South Stand, which can hold 4,000 fans.
Importantly, no physical or digital tickets will be required for this match. Entry will be strictly regulated, and once all three stands are filled, further admission will be prohibited.
Jamshedpur FC has urged supporters to follow the instructions of the security and volunteer staff at the venue, and to arrive early to avoid disappointment. The club is expecting a strong turnout for what promises to be a high-octane fixture in the historic Durand Cup.
