Former Jamshedpur FC star Gourav Mukhi scored a hat-trick as Tata Motors wiped the floor with Narwa Pahar Sports Club, beating them 7-0 at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium in Telco in the JSA League Premier Division.
Sadhu Mardi also scored a hat-trick for Tata Motors in this match, while Ranjeet Mardi added another goal to complete the dominance.
Tata Steel also kept their winning momentum going as they picked up a 2-1 victory over Babulal Soren Football Academy in the Premier Division of the JSA League at JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Shital Tudu opened the scoring in the 9th minute of the match and Vikash Nayak added a second in the 48th minute to give Tata Steel a comfortable lead in the match.
A 78th minute goal from Santosh Soren gave Babulal Soren some hope, but it only proved to be a consolation in the end.
Jharkhand Bayar and Sidhu Kanu Memorial Club played out a 1-1 draw in an A Division (Group B) match at Armoury Ground, while Mohammedan Sporting Club won 2-1 against Marshal Club at Tinplate Sports Complex in the A Division (Group A).
In the Super Division, Jamshedpur FC Youth were beaten 1-0 by Shishu Dome Com Club at Gopal Maidan, with Sawan Hansda scoring the only goal of the game in the 35th minute.
