Jamshedpur FC defender Sairuat Kima shared his thoughts ahead of the pre-quarter final vs I-League’s Minerva Punjab FC. He said, “It feels really great to be back. We have been away for 3 weeks. Meeting my fellow teammates again feels speacial and I am happy to be training again.”
The 20-year-old is wary of the challenge posed by the northerners as he said, “We cannot compare the current Punjab team now to the team they were the season I played against them. They are I-League champions now and they won’t be easy to play against.”
Jamshedpur FC face Minerva Punjab FC in the pre-quarter finals of the Hero Super Cup on 2nd April. The tournament is being held at a neutral venue – Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
