Jamshedpur, October 20: The Jamshedpur FC family came together for a night filled with light, laughter, and togetherness as the senior and youth teams, along with the entire coaching and support staff, celebrated Diwali in style on Monday evening.
The players and staff arrived in vibrant traditional attire, marking the festive spirit with warmth and camaraderie. The evening featured live music, a delicious team dinner, and the sparkling glow of fireworks and crackers that lit up the night sky. Laughter, and moments of celebration created a relaxed and joyful atmosphere and it was a perfect break from the intensity of the ongoing training sessions.
Both the JFC senior team and the youth players from the Tata Football Academy joined in the festivities, sharing smiles and festive greetings as one extended football family. The gathering reflected the unity and culture that defines the club, with coaches and players mingling freely, celebrating not just the festival of lights but also their shared journey ahead.
“It’s important for the players and staff to have moments like these together. Football is a family, and Diwali gave us the perfect chance to celebrate that bond,” said Head Coach Steven Dias during the event.
The Men of Steel are set to travel to Goa on October 23 for the upcoming Super Cup, where they will face FC Goa, NorthEast United FC, and Inter Kashi in the group stage. The Diwali celebration provided a brief but much-needed escape before the team returns to full focus on their preparations.
