Jamshedpur FC Coaches Attend Laws of the Game Workshop

Jamshedpur, July 11: Jamshedpur FC conducted a Laws of the Game workshop for its grassroots and youth team coaches as part of the club's continuous coach education programme. The session was aimed at ensuring coaches remain up to date with the latest amendments to the IFAB Laws of the Game and are equipped to implement them effectively during training and matches.

The workshop was delivered by Naveen Sundi, AIFF Referee Assessor/ Instructor and Head of Referees at the Jharkhand Football Association, who provided detailed insights into the recent law changes through practical examples and match scenarios.

Among the key topics were the new amendments of the game introduced this year. The revised laws target time-wasting by introducing strict countdowns for restarts, mandatory exit times during substitution and temporary off-field periods for players receiving medical treatment. The session also covered several other amendments, including player conduct, referee signals and procedural changes, helping coaches better understand how the laws are interpreted and applied in modern football.

The interactive workshop allowed coaches to clarify doubts and discuss real-game situations, reinforcing the importance of staying informed about the evolving nature of the game.
