In order to upgrade the currently employed Grassroots coaches of the Jamshedpur FC Football Schools across the city, the club is conducting a Youth Leaders Workshop.

Currently, the employed Jamshedpur FC Grassroots coaches are working in the development of kids aged 3 to 12 years old. The workshop being conducted now aims to educate the coaches on how to train players falling into the age group of 13-18 years.

Jamshedpur FC looks to take a step ahead and start training the age groups of U14, U16 and U18 too at the current football schools, which is the crux of why the course is being conducted.

The 22 coaches participating in the workshop are as follows:

20th May 2019 saw the workshop begin and it will go on till 25th May 2019 at Tribal Culture Center in Sonari. It is being conducted by Mr. Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots and Youth Development at Jamshedpur FC.

Jamshedpur FC Youth (Tata Football Academy) Head Coach, Mr. Carlos Santamarina, opened proceedings for the workshop with some inspirational words. He said, “I am happy to see the coaches from our football schools coming together for a common objective – that is – developing football. Let’s continue the good work!”
