Jamshedpur FC End Group Stage With 3-1 Victory Over Inter Kashi in U-17 Elite League

Varanasi, March 23: Jamshedpur FC concluded their U-17 Elite Youth League group stage campaign with a 3-1 triumph over Inter Kashi at Sigra Stadium on Saturday. Having already secured qualification as Group K runners-up, Jamshedpur put in a commanding performance to finish on a winning note.

Inter Kashi took the lead in the 35th minute through a penalty converted by Rahul Singh Taragi. However, Jamshedpur responded before halftime, with Bikash Tudu netting the equaliser to restore parity.

The second half saw Jamshedpur take control, as Bikash's brace put them ahead in the 65 th minute. Dumka Baskey sealed the victory with a stoppage-time goal, ensuring a dominant finish to the group stage.

With this win, Jamshedpur FC ended the phase with 24 points from 10 matches, just one point behind group leaders AIFF FIFA Talent Academy. The team now shifts focus to the next phase of the U-17 Elite League, set to begin in April.
