Jamshedpur, November 2: Owing to the tremendous response, the registration deadline for the upcoming Jamshedpur FC U15 (TFA) trials has been extended until November 3. Over 2000 players from across India have already registered, marking a record turnout for the prestigious Tata Football Academy's search for young talent. The trials are expected to see record participation, drawing candidates from every corner of the country, eager to showcase their skills for a chance to join TFA’s elite football program.

Candidates from Kerala to Kashmir have applied for the Under-15 trials as the trails will be held at TFA ground at Jamshedpur. Last time TFA conducted trials was in two years ago.

Founded in 1987, Tata Football Academy (TFA) has been instrumental in developing some of India’s top footballing talent. To date, 303 cadets have graduated from TFA, with 149 (or 49%) advancing to represent top professional clubs and the Indian National Football team. TFA has a proud history of producing some of India’s notable footballers, including Pronay Halder, Udanta Singh, Subrata Paul, and Mahesh Gawli.

Candidates born between January 1, 2011, and December 31, 2012, are invited to apply. Registration is free, and shortlisted participants will be notified of their trial details via phone and email.

Trials will focus on match situations, technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical ability. Accredited with a three-star rating by the All India Football Federation, TFA provides a four-year, fully funded scholarship for selected players. Cadets benefit from top-notch facilities, including dedicated training grounds, accommodation, meals, and educational support, with guidance from licensed coaches, sports psychologists, nutritionists, and medical professionals.
