Jamshedpur FC extends its wishes to Bachendri Pal for being conferred with the Padma Bhushan accolade

Jamshedpur FC would like to extend their heartiest congratulations to Bachendri Pal - an inspiration for all and a mountaineer par excellence for being conferred with the prestigious Padma Bhushan accolade.

The 64-year-old mountaineer became the first Indian woman to climb the summit of Mount Everest in 1984 and for her sensational achievements in the adventure sport, she has been bestowed upon with India's third highest civilian honour.

To reach the utmost height by breaking all the barriers can be a quick motivational thought, but it’s easier said than done. Bachendri Pal has set a greatest ever example to the phrase Sky is the limit. Ever since her achievement, she has always been a greatest of inspirations to the younger generation who have been seeking to reach out to the sky.

Bachendri Pal is currently the Director of Tata Steel Adventure Foundation and has been sharing her knowledge of mountaineering with the world. Congratulations ma'am for being honoured with the Padma Bhushan award and thank you, for inspiring us to aim for the peak.
