Jamshedpur FC inaugurates AIFF D-License Coaching Course to Nurture Grassroots Football

In a significant step towards nurturing grassroots football and fostering the development of young talents, Jamshedpur FC has inaugurated the AIFF D-License Coaching Course at the Tata Football Academy (TFA). This initiative aims to empower 24 grassroots coaches with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively coach young players, both on and off the field.

The course encompasses a comprehensive curriculum, blending theoretical sessions with practical, hands-on training, ensuring that coaches gain a holistic understanding of coaching methodologies tailored to the needs of young athletes. Recognizing the importance of instilling core values such as discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, the program emphasizes character-building alongside technical skills.

Under the guidance of Kundan Chandra, the head of Grassroots at Jamshedpur FC, the participating coaches will delve into various aspects of coaching tailored to youth football. Chandra's expertise and experience in grassroots development make him a valuable asset in shaping the future of Indian football through education and mentorship.

Integral to the coaching course is the Grassroots Football Festival scheduled to take place on the 8th of May at TFA. This festival serves as a platform for young players to showcase their talents, while also providing a conducive environment for coaches to implement their newfound knowledge in a practical setting. Such events not only promote grassroots football but also foster a sense of community and camaraderie among players, coaches, and enthusiasts alike.

In essence, the AIFF D-License Coaching Course initiated by Jamshedpur FC underscores the club's commitment to youth development and the holistic growth of Indian football. Through education, empowerment, and community engagement, the course endeavors to shape not just skilled players but also responsible citizens, instilling values that extend far beyond the confines of the football field. As the grassroots movement gathers momentum, the prospects for Indian football shine brighter than ever before.
