Jamshedpur, July 13: Jamshedpur FC officially began their 2025-26 campaign with the start of pre-season training at Flatlet on Sunday. With the Durand Cup on the horizon, the squad hit the ground running under the watchful eyes of head coach Khalid Jamil and his staff.
This marks the team’s first on-field session since the Super Cup, and there’s a clear sense of intent as players look to build rhythm, sharpen their game, and compete for places ahead of the season opener on 24 July.
A group of 16 players, including Albino Gomes, Ritwik Das, Pronay Halder, Mobashir Khan, and Nikhil Barla, have already reported to camp. The club also announced the signings of Ashutosh Mehta, Manvir Singh, and Germanpreet Singh for the Durand Cup, adding further depth and experience to the squad.
With football back in the city and competitive fixtures just days away, the focus is now on preparation and execution. Jamshedpur FC will play all three group matches of the Durand Cup at home, starting with a clash against Nepal’s Tribhuvan Army FT at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on 24 th of July.
