Jamshedpur FC part ways with Jerry Mawia

Jamshedpur FC have agreed terms with Delhi Dynamos for the permanent transfer of Jerry Mawihmingthanga. After two eventful seasons with the club, the flashy winger from Mizoram will now ply his trade with the capital club.

Jerry made 22 appearances for Jamshedpur FC and scored once for the club. And that was one to remember! The 22 year-old scored the fastest goal in Indian Super League history when he scored against Kerala Blasters after just 22 seconds on the clock, in the 2017/18 season.

His impressive performances in the 17/18 season also saw him win the Football Players Association of India (FPAI) Young Player of the Year award. It was a reward for his influential displays for Jamshedpur FC where he dazzled on the big stage with his blistering pace and quick passing.

The club would like to thank him for his services and wish him a fantastic career ahead.
