Jamshedpur: After the hard-fought loss in the home game against Hyderabad, the Men of Steel are back for the next Hero Indian Super League challenge. As they head to Chennai for their third away game of the HISL 2022-23 season against the Marina Machans.

Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC have faced each other 10 times in the Hero ISL. Out of which the Chennai side have managed to come out victorious on 4 occasions. 3 out of the 10 have ended as a draw.

In the previous season, Chennaiyin FC were the side to hand Jamshedpur one of their four defeats but were later defeated with a heavy score line in the second half of the season.

While Jamshedpur went on to become the League Winners, Chennaiyin FC on the other hand, ended their season in the bottom end of the table, finishing 8th with just 5 wins out of the 20 games.

Currently, the Marina Machans are 7th on the league table with 7 points. The 10th position is where the Men of Steel are placed after dropping points from the last two games.

As both, sides step up for their 11th clash in the Hero ISL, the two young and energetic squads will do everything in their power to earn the winning points and keep their ascend towards the top end of the table.

After a defeat in their previous games, both teams will be even more hungry for a victory and will battle it out to get back to their winning ways.
