Jamshedpur, December 4: The stage is set for Jamshedpur FC’s Reserve Team to begin their campaign in the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) 2024-25, with their opening match against Senapati FC on December 5th at 2:00 PM at the MFA Ground in Shillong.
The North-East ROI zonal phase of the RFDL is a competitive platform designed to bridge the gap between grassroots football and professional leagues. For Jamshedpur FC, this is an opportunity to showcase their academy's strength while providing invaluable experience to their budding players.
Head coach Kaizad Ambapardiwalla, who brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in youth development, expressed his confidence in the team ahead of the tournament. “Our boys have been working hard in training, and we’re excited to kick off our RFDL journey tomorrow. This competition is a fantastic opportunity for young players to gain exposure and experience. We’re focused on performing as a team and representing Jamshedpur FC with pride,” said Ambapardiwalla, who previously guided Bengaluru FC to an RFDL title.
The Reserve Team is set to play five matches in nine days, with a tightly packed schedule. Following their opener against Senapati FC, they will face SAI RC on December 7, Classic FA on December 9, TODO FC on December 11, and Football 4 Change on December 13
