The Jamshedpur FC Reserve Team fell to yet another defeat in the Premier Division of the JSA League, losing 2-1 to Babulal Soren Football Academy thanks to two first half goals at JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Babulal did the damage in the first period, with Bajay Jate scoring both goals for the team in the 21st and 31st minutes respectively.
The brace proved to be enough to secure all three points, and despite a resurgent second half performance, JFC could only pull one goal back thanks to Bivan Jyoti Laskar in the 50th minute.
In the A Division (Group B), Vikas Samity were defeated 2-1 by Adivasi Development and Welfare Association thanks to second half strikes from Bhutka Tudu and Gurwa Lohar at Armoury Ground.
In A Division (Group A) action at Tinplate Sports Complex, Chotanagpur Football Club got the better of Marshal Club 2-1 while the other Premier Division match saw Gramin Football Academy beat Jamshedpur Boys Club 2-0 at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium in Telco.
