Jamshedpur FC Reserves Begin RFDL National Stage with Commanding 3-0 Win Over East(Kolkata) Zone Champions Ea

Mumbai, March 23: Jamshedpur FC Reserves kicked off their Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) National Group Stage campaign in emphatic fashion, defeating last year's runners-up and this year's Kolkata Zone Champions East Bengal FC 3-0 at the Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai.

After a goalless first half, Jamshedpur took control in the second, with Remson breaking the deadlock in the 63rd minute. The forward dribbled past multiple defenders inside the box before calmly slotting the ball into the far post.

Jamshedpur continued to press, and their attacking intent was rewarded when Marjit Singh converted from the penalty spot in the 80th minute. The final blow came in the 87th minute when Bivan produced a moment of brilliance, nutmegging an East Bengal defender before setting up Zuala, who finished clinically to seal the 3-0 win.

Jamshedpur FC controlled possession from the outset, dictating play with crisp passing and fluid movement. Remson was a constant threat down the flanks, while Bivan and Zuala came close to scoring in the first half. The defensive unit remained solid, keeping East Bengal’s attack at bay and ensuring a clean sheet.

With this convincing victory, Jamshedpur FC Reserves have made a strong statement in the tournament. They will next face Kickstart FC on March 26 at the same venue.
