In their second Group B game of the LG Independence Cup, Jamshedpur FC Reserves drew 2-2 with Kanan FC. After suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of Chawnpui FC two days back, the side from Jamshedpur opened their account in the competition, courtesy of two goals from Billu Teli and Rakesh Yadav.

This was Teli's second goal in the competition. Meanwhile, Rakesh Yadav was adjudged as the Man of the Match for scoring an 87th minute equalizer for Jamshedpur FC Reserves.

The Reserves side play next on August 6 against Chhinga Veng FC which has now become a must win game for them.
